SHIPPING POLICY
Last updated: 14 July 2026
Thank you for choosing a piece by Sylvie Majerová. Each order is prepared and packaged with care in our studio in the Czech Republic.
This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed through sylviemajerova.cz and sylviemajerova.com are processed and delivered.
1. Order processing
Processing time depends on whether the selected piece is available in stock or made specifically for your order.
In-stock jewellery
Pieces marked as available in stock are normally prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment has been received.
Made-to-order jewellery
Made-to-order pieces are normally created and dispatched within approximately 3–8 weeks, unless a different production time is stated on the relevant product page.
Custom Design and bespoke jewellery
The production time for individually designed, personalised or bespoke jewellery is agreed separately with the Customer before production begins.
The estimated production period starts after:
-
the design and specifications have been approved;
-
all necessary information, including the correct ring size, has been provided; and
-
the agreed payment or deposit has been received.
Production times are estimates unless a specific completion date has been expressly agreed in writing.
2. Shipping destinations
We deliver to the countries available for selection during checkout.
Available delivery methods depend on the destination, parcel value and the type of product ordered.
If your country is not available during checkout, please contact us at:
We will let you know whether individual delivery can be arranged.
3. Shipping methods and costs
Available carriers, delivery methods and shipping costs are displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.
Shipping costs may depend on:
-
the delivery destination;
-
the selected delivery method;
-
the value of the order;
-
parcel size and weight; and
-
any additional insurance or delivery services.
The Customer will always be shown the total price of the order, including shipping costs, before confirming the purchase.
Any optional additional service, such as express delivery, must be actively selected by the Customer.
4. Estimated delivery times
The delivery period consists of:
-
the time required to prepare or create the jewellery; and
-
the carrier’s transport time after dispatch.
Estimated transport times may be shown during checkout or in the dispatch confirmation.
Transport times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including customs procedures, public holidays, severe weather or transport disruption.
Unless a different delivery period has been stated on the product page or agreed with the Customer, the order will be delivered within the period required by applicable consumer law.
5. Order confirmation and tracking
After placing an order, the Customer will receive an order confirmation at the email address provided during checkout.
Once the order has been dispatched, we will send a shipping confirmation. Where tracking is available, the confirmation will include a tracking number or tracking link.
Please allow some time for the carrier’s tracking system to update after dispatch.
6. Delivery address
The Customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Please check your delivery details carefully before submitting the order.
If you notice an error in the delivery address, contact us as soon as possible at:
We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once the parcel has been dispatched.
If a parcel is returned because of:
-
an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the Customer;
-
failure to collect the parcel;
-
repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts; or
-
unjustified refusal to accept the parcel,
the Customer may be required to pay the reasonable costs of returning and resending the order.
This does not affect the Customer’s statutory rights where the parcel was not delivered because of an error by the Seller or carrier.
7. Receiving the parcel
Jewellery orders may require a signature or another form of delivery confirmation.
The Customer should inspect the parcel upon delivery.
If the outer packaging appears seriously damaged, opened or tampered with, we recommend:
-
documenting the condition of the parcel with photographs;
-
asking the carrier to record the damage; and
-
contacting us as soon as possible.
Where appropriate, the Customer may refuse to accept a visibly damaged parcel.
Failure to report visible damage immediately does not remove any mandatory statutory consumer rights.
8. Risk of loss or damage
We are responsible for the parcel until it is delivered to the Customer or to a person designated by the Customer to receive it.
The risk of accidental loss or damage normally passes to the Customer when the Customer, or another person designated by the Customer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the parcel.
If the Customer independently arranges a carrier that was not offered through our online store, the risk may pass when the order is handed over to that carrier, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Lost or delayed parcels
If the tracking information has not been updated for an unusually long period or the parcel has not arrived within the estimated delivery period, please contact us at:
Please include your name and order number.
We will contact the carrier and, where appropriate, initiate a delivery investigation.
A parcel is not automatically considered lost merely because the estimated delivery date has passed. The carrier may require an investigation period before officially confirming that a parcel has been lost.
If the order is confirmed as lost before delivery to the Customer, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, such as:
-
sending a replacement where possible; or
-
refunding the relevant payment.
As many Sylvie Majerová pieces are unique, replacement with an identical piece may not always be possible.
10. International deliveries, customs and import charges
For deliveries outside the European Union or to territories with special customs or tax arrangements, the order may be subject to:
-
import duties;
-
local taxes;
-
customs charges; or
-
handling fees imposed by the destination country or carrier.
Unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout, these charges are not included in the product or shipping price and are the responsibility of the recipient.
We cannot determine or control charges imposed by foreign customs authorities.
The Customer is responsible for checking the applicable import rules in the destination country before placing an order.
If a parcel is refused or not collected because the recipient does not wish to pay applicable import charges, reasonable return transport, customs or handling costs may be deducted from the refundable amount where permitted by law.
11. Delivery restrictions
We may be unable to deliver to certain destinations because of:
-
carrier restrictions;
-
customs or import restrictions;
-
sanctions or legal requirements;
-
security concerns;
-
restrictions relating to jewellery, precious metals or gemstones; or
-
circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If we cannot deliver an accepted order, we will notify the Customer and refund the relevant payment without undue delay.
12. Delays outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a material delay occurs, we will inform the Customer as soon as reasonably possible and take appropriate steps to minimise its effects.
This does not limit the Customer’s mandatory right to request delivery, cancel the order or receive a refund where the conditions established by applicable consumer law have been met.
13. Separate shipments
Where an order contains products with different production or availability times, the products may be shipped together once the entire order is ready.
Where separate shipment is available or necessary, we will inform the Customer.
The Customer will not be charged additional shipping costs for a separate shipment initiated solely by the Seller unless this has been agreed in advance.
14. Returns
This Shipping Policy applies to the delivery of purchased products.
Information about withdrawal, returns and refunds is available in our separate Returns & Refund Policy.
Personalised and genuinely bespoke products may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal, as explained in the Returns & Refund Policy and the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
